The staff, with the help of the children, have created a new area in the room, where they can go and explore and use their imaginations 💭

We get the children out in all weathers and they enjoy getting down and dirty which is so lovely to see 🌧️☀️❄️

The children really enjoy our sensory room, it’s situated in Our Investigators room. Sensory rooms have several benefits, including :-

❤️ Developing users’ visual processing abilities as well as their fine and gross motor skills, facilitating day-to-day living
🧡 Helping children with additional needs to explore cause and effect
💛 Providing a space to retreat to for self-regulation
💚 Encouraging socialisation
