At the Northfield Out of School Club our breakfast session runs from 7.30am to 8.45am and we walk our children to school ready for opening time. Our afternoon session runs from 3.15pm when we start collecting from schools until 6pm. We provide a safe and relaxed environment giving you peace of mind and continuity for your child if they have attended nursery with us.

Our outdoor space has recently been completely refurbished. There are now defined areas for climbing, growing, creative play along with the traditional hard-play surfaces. This ‘all-weather’ outdoor area ensures access is possible all-year round and with a mini-forest school planned for the future, this will become a ‘natural-haven’ within the city.
The Holiday Clubs at Northfield Nursery are open to all children, whatever school they attend, during all school holidays and for those occasional school closure days. To book a Holiday Club place then complete the online Booking Form.

The overall quality of the provision is good
Children’s artwork, photographs and posters are displayed, both indoors and outdoors, to create a bright, child-centred and welcoming environment. All staff act as positive role models and speak to children in a calm, gentle and respectful manner. Staff have a sound knowledge of appropriate behaviour management strategies, which has been enhanced through attending in-house training sessions, and children are encouraged to share, take turns and consider the needs of others as well as themselves. Activities are used effectively to encourage children to value diversity and children are encouraged to learn about the world around them through fun activities.
