Cleaner

To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Nursery, Head Office and Training Rooms.

The ability to work on own initiative, making last minute changes as required is desirable as is a sense of humour. No formal qualifications are required but an awareness of health and safety and environmental health issues is an advantage.

Hours:      minimum 6 hours a week (with flexibility to do more)

Holidays:    20 days plus 8 Statutory Bank Holidays (Pro-rata for part time)

Groundsman & Maintenance Person

You will contribute towards providing high quality environment for children attending the nurseries in accordance with company management philosophy.Responsible for maintaining the grounds and undertaking general building maintenance within our four day nurseries and supporting Out of School Clubs when necessary.Some maintenance will need to be undertaken at weekends. This is seasonal and we may annualise hours so longer summer days are worked against shorter winter days.No specific qualification required,an understanding of Health & Safety is essential, trade skills or gardening knowledge would be beneficial. We sub-contract plumbing and electrics separately.You are required to travel between sites in Warwickshire, Worcestershire & South Birmingham and have your own transport for this, Company vehicles are available for transporting goods if required

Our ideal candidate will be experienced at working within a variety of disciplines. They must be able to work under their own initiative with minimum supervision. The ability to be flexible and adaptable is essential, making last minute changes as required. No formal qualifications are required but relevant training may be offered. An awareness of health and safety and environmental health issues is an advantage.

Salary and Conditions:

Salary:     Dependent on qualifications and experience        

Hours:     25 hours per week average, with more hours available by negotiation between March and October

Holidays:    28 days including 8 Statutory Bank Holidays (Pro-rata for part time)

Closing Date: 28th February 2015

A full DBS Certificate will be required prior to commencement.
